I am Kamogelo Mofokeng(Retro)
A young multi-disciplinary designer from Pretoria, South Africa, based in Johannesburg. I bring 9 years of freelance work experience in the Graphic Design and Creative field, currently pursuing a BA in Interior Design at the University of Johannesburg. I am deeply interested in design, music, fashion, fitness, and art.
Subjectively, my work communicates ideas of surrealism, and visual pleasure expressed through vibrant colour theory, bold typography and clean layout composition. I take pride in experimenting through design with the inclusion of extensive research in all my work, personal & commissioned. I pride myself in continuous learning of the fields I work in.
From my desk, I have worked on over 100 projects across the globe, landing opportunities from Grammy Award-winning, Billboard-charting artists, world-leading marketing agencies, and production companies. These opportunities propel my growth as a designer.
I aim to work with virtually anyone who envisions providing value to the masses, whether on a small or large scale.
